Thai Amadeus Southeast Asia and Air Calin Showcase New Caledonia to Thai Market Through Exclusive FAM Trip


From 25 to 30 September 2025, in a collaborative initiative led by Thai Amadeus Southeast Asia and Air Calin, with the technical support of New Caledonia Tourism and sponsorship from Falcon Travel2Go Insurance, 22 Thai travel agents and influencers were invited to experience the wonders of New Caledonia through an exclusive FAM Trip designed to strengthen destination awareness and market engagement in Thailand.


This initiative forms part of Air Calin’s strategic plan to introduce New Caledonia as an emerging and authentic destination to the Thai travel market, coinciding with the launch of the airline’s new Nouméa–Paris route via Bangkok.


During the FAM Trip, participants discovered the remarkable diversity of New Caledonia’s landscapes and culture. The itinerary featured visits to Poé, the Deva domain, Moindou, Amédée Lighthouse, Îlot Maître, and Nouméa, as well as key attractions such as the Tjibaou Cultural Centre and the Aquarium des Lagons.


This FAM Trip marks a significant step in enhancing tourism and cultural connections between Thailand and New Caledonia. By combining industry collaboration, influencer marketing, and experiential travel, Air Calin, Thai Amadeus Southeast Asia, and New Caledonia Tourism aim to inspire Thai travelers to explore the natural and cultural beauty of New Caledonia — the Pacific’s hidden gem.
